Identity Theft

You can take steps to guard your personal information by not showing people your passwords, updating your passwords, keeping your info updated, checking your accounts to make sure everything is okay, paying attention to your surroundings, and never sharing anything with people you do not know. I have never really given identity theft much thought before now because I never realized how serious it was. Identity theft is the illegal use of someone else's personal information (such as a Social Security number) in order to obtain money or credit.
